Building bridges and building walls.
These are both important  in our success journey.
Learning to separate chaff from the real, that is, identifying and choosing who it is expedient to walk along with, on your journey to greatness and doing same to those who need to be disengaged, having little or no clue about what you are pressing towards, so they don't get you confused!

No man is an island! It’s why you need excellent minds to walk along with, on your bridge. Bridge, because you tread a higher path. You need those committed to their aspirations and who understand what it takes to achieve success; who are ready to cheer you up, scold you, advice you and support you where and when necessary. They are your needed cheerleaders.

However, be careful about those who appear supportive, but are just pretenders that is those who appear to be Gold but are pyrites(the fool's Gold), so you don't fall a prey of being the fool. They are Lazy folks who really have nothing to lose.  They reckon, that regardless of whatever happens, they can walk out if you fail or be partakers of your success if you succeed. At least their presence in your life, howevere mere, is an investment for them and would be beneficial to them. They are really not concerned about what happens. These are the ones you need to build a thick wall against. Lukewarm: neither here nor there.
