HEALTH BENEFITS OF AVOCADO
Avocado is a rather unique type of fruit. Most fruit consists primarily of carbohydrate, while avocado is high in healthy fats.
Avocado is referred to as this “nature’s butter,” I guess it isn’t hard to figure out why it was called that. Creamy, enriched with healthy fat and easy to spread, it doesn't require any special preparation before eating it, which can be plain, as a salad combination or with a toast.
The main type of fat that you’ll find in avocado is oleic acid, a monounsaturated fat.
Not only does fat help your body to absorb vitamins A, D, E and K (the fat-soluble vitamins), monounsaturated fats have also been shown to help reduce inflammation, lower LDL cholesterol (the “bad” type), and maybe even reduce the risk of certain types of cancer...so I heard !!!
There is some evidence that avocados are a weight loss friendly food, including avocados in your diet could help you naturally eat fewer calories and have an easier time sticking to a healthy diet.Avocados are also high in fiber, and very low in carbs, two attributes that should also help promote weight loss, at least in the context of a healthy, real food based
Avocados increase antioxidant absorption from other foods, they are also high in antioxidants themselves. This includes nutrients called Lutein and Zeaxanthin, which are incredibly important for eye health.Studies show that these nutrients are linked to a drastically reduced risk of cataracts and mascular degeneration.
It is also good for deep conditioning your natural hair as it helps retain moisture, keeps the hair shining and soft. It reduces the the level of salt in the body because of the high potassium level.
Try adding avocados to your diet and food intake daily ...thank me later... *winks*
